By creating an account and using Arrenda, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Arrenda, a software service based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Arrenda is a cloud-based software application that automates IFRS 16 lease accounting. The service generates amortisation schedules, journal entries, and financial reports for organisations that report under IFRS standards.
Arrenda is a tool to assist your accounting processes. It does not constitute professional accounting, legal, or tax advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of data entered and for compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@arrenda.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of your organisation.
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, access to paid features will be restricted unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Annual subscriptions are offered at a 15% discount compared to monthly billing and are billed as a single upfront payment.
If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. Continued failure to pay may result in suspension of your account.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days at contact@arrenda.io.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Arrenda. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you upload complies with applicable data protection laws and that you have the right to share it with third-party processors (as described in our Privacy Policy).
All intellectual property rights in the Arrenda service, including its software, design, and all generated outputs, are retained by Arrenda. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service during your subscription period.
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Arrenda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to errors in IFRS 16 calculations, loss of data, or financial losses.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms or modify the service at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Continued use of Arrenda after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.
For questions about these terms, contact us at contact@arrenda.io.
